As with most full time cruising boats, the "extra" head and bedroom become extra storage or double duty use. In our case, the forward head contains a double tub, South American washer. This wonderful machine is portable, requiring no instalation and can be moved to the deck in just a few minutes. the waterproof cover allows extended storage while company is on aboard. The washer will do a load of 4 kg and the spinner, seen on the right, will remove almost all water for a quick dry on the line. We use the water from the sink (hot and cold) and drain through the shower sump. This machine is ideal for a cruising boat because you can use the rinse water for the next wash.

Since this picture was taken, the fabric and mattresses have been changed. We will post another picture soon, but the beds have pillow top covers and custom heets with custom comforters and matching pillow cases and shams.
